Use Case: The VSL Script Builder (Works with Fathom or Fireflies)

Turn an offer sheet into a short video sales letter script.

🔌 Works best with your call recorder. Connect Fathom or Fireflies and Jeremy AI reads your sales calls, so the script answers the objections buyers actually raise. It only reads.

Paste your offer sheet. Get one file: a short video sales letter script with a hook, the problem, the offer, how it works, a one-line call to action and a fact check that ties every claim back to your sheet. No made-up results. No made-up deadlines. Nothing is published.

You'll see the SAMPLE offer sheet pasted in with the rules, the VSL script built at 4x speed, the hook, problem and offer sections, the one-line call to action and the fact check that ties each claim to the sheet. Nothing is published.

What this use case does and who it's for

You know the offer. You just can't get the script down. So you ask a tool for a VSL and get a wall of hype: "thousands of students," "doors close tonight," "50% off." None of it is true. Now you're deleting lines instead of recording.

Jeremy AI reads your offer sheet and writes a script from the facts on it, and only those facts. The file has six sections:

  1. A hook. Two lines.

  2. The problem. Three lines.

  3. The offer. Bullets, one per offer fact.

  4. How it works. Three steps.

  5. A clear call to action. One line, with no deadline and no time words like "today" or "now."

  6. A fact check. A table that shows which line of your offer sheet each claim came from.

It's for course creators, coaches and agency owners who need a VSL script but don't want to risk saying something untrue. You stay in charge. It's a draft. Jeremy AI doesn't publish or send anything.

What you need before you start

  • A Jeremy AI account. Nothing to connect to try the sample.

  • Your offer sheet, as plain bullets. Modules, access length, support, live calls, certificate. The sample sheet has seven bullets.

  • A clear note on what's not provided. The sample says "Student results: not provided. Price: not provided." That tells the AI to leave those out instead of guessing.

  • Your rules for what the script must never do. The sample uses HARD RULES: use only facts and numbers from the offer sheet, exact numbers only, never invent or round up a result, testimonial, scarcity or deadline, no claims about what most people or students experience, never mention discounts, payment plans, bonuses, refunds, free trials, pauses or downgrades, and never address you by name.

How to set it up

You use the default Jeremy AI worker. There's nothing to build.

  1. Open Jeremy AI. From the dashboard, type in the main box. Check the worker selector says Jeremy AI.

  2. Paste the prompt below. Swap in your own offer name and your real offer sheet.

  3. Click Send message.

  4. Wait. The walkthrough runs this at 4x speed. In real time it took about a minute and a half.

  5. When it says the file is saved, read the chat summary first.

  6. Open the file card and read the script top to bottom.

  7. Open the fact check table at the bottom. Check each claim against your sheet.

  8. Edit anything that doesn't sound like you. Then record.

The prompt

This is the exact prompt from the walkthrough. The course, the offer sheet and every number are SAMPLE and made up. Replace them with yours.

Act as my "VSL Script Builder" worker for SAMPLE Ad Launch Lab, a SAMPLE paid-ads course (all data below is made up). Write a short video sales letter script using ONLY the offer sheet below. Save ONE file named vsl-script.md with: 1) a HOOK (2 lines), 2) THE PROBLEM (3 lines), 3) THE OFFER (bullets, one per offer fact), 4) HOW IT WORKS (3 steps), 5) A CLEAR CALL TO ACTION (one line, no deadline and no time words like today or now), 6) a FACT CHECK list showing which line of the offer sheet each claim came from. HARD RULES: use ONLY facts and numbers from the offer sheet, exact numbers only, never invent or round up a result, testimonial, scarcity or deadline, and write "not provided" if something is missing; only offer facts, no claims about what most people or students experience; never offer or mention discounts, payment plans, bonuses, refunds, free trials, pauses or downgrades; never address me by name anywhere in the chat reply or the file. Drafts only, nothing is published or sent.
OFFER SHEET (SAMPLE Ad Launch Lab):
- 8 modules, lessons available for 12 months from purchase.
- Module 2 has the ad account setup checklist (Lesson 2.3). Module 4 covers how to set and review a starting budget (Lesson 4.2).
- Live Q&A calls run Thursdays at 1pm ET, replays are posted in Module 6 within 24 hours.
- Certificate: finish all 8 modules and submit the Module 8 quiz.
- Support: reply to the welcome email, the support team answers questions.
- Student results: not provided. Price: not provided.

Prompting tips and how to adapt it

  • Paste the real offer sheet. The script can only use facts you give it. Short bullets work best.

  • Write "not provided." If you don't want to share a price or results yet, say so on the sheet. Then the script leaves them out.

  • Ask for exact numbers. "Exact numbers only" keeps "8 modules" from turning into "dozens of lessons."

  • Ban the invented stuff by name. The prompt lists results, testimonials, scarcity and deadlines. Keep that list.

  • Keep the CTA clean. The prompt asks for one line with no deadline and no time words. You can add your real deadline later, once it's real.

  • Ban the crowd claims. The prompt says no claims about what most people or students experience. Keep it. Those claims are made up.

  • Ask for the fact check. It's how you confirm every line in two minutes.

  • Set the section sizes. Hook in 2 lines, problem in 3, how it works in 3 steps. Change them if you want a longer script.

  • Ask for ONE Markdown file. Say ".md" so you can preview it in the file card.

  • Adapt it. Use it for a webinar script, a sales page outline or a short ad script. Swap in your own sheet and sections.

The result to expect

One Markdown file named vsl-script.md, titled "Ad Launch Lab: VSL Script (Draft)." It's about 600 words in the walkthrough. With the sample sheet you should see:

  • A hook. Two lines. It says it's a paid ads course that walks through the setup, the budget and the support path, module by module, and names the course.

  • The problem. Three lines about the decisions in a paid ads launch, framed around the sheet and not around anything the AI made up.

  • The offer. Bullets for 8 modules with lessons available for 12 months, the Module 2 ad account setup checklist (Lesson 2.3), the Module 4 budgets lesson (Lesson 4.2), live Q&A calls on Thursdays at 1pm ET with replays in Module 6 within 24 hours, the certificate for finishing all 8 modules and the Module 8 quiz, and the support path. Student results and price are listed as "not provided."

  • How it works. Three steps.

  • A call to action. One line: "Enroll in Ad Launch Lab and start Module 1." No deadline. No time words.

  • A fact check. A two-column table with each claim on the left and the offer sheet line it came from on the right. Lines that sum up the sheet are marked "derived," with no new facts added.

  • Notes. A closing note that says the script has no testimonials, results, guarantees, discounts, payment plans, bonuses, refunds, free trials, pauses, downgrades, deadlines or scarcity claims, and that every number is exact.

The chat reply confirms nothing was published or sent and offers to tighten any section.

These are sample results from a made-up course. Wording changes from run to run. Read the whole script before you record.

Common mistakes and fixes

  • The script says "thousands of students" or "most people see results." Delete it. Remind it: "Use only facts from the offer sheet. No claims about what most people or students experience."

  • It makes up a deadline, a bonus or a discount. Delete it. Remind it: "Never invent scarcity, deadlines, bonuses or discounts. Write 'not provided' if something is missing."

  • It invents a testimonial or a result. Say: "Student results are not provided. Write 'not provided.'"

  • A number got rounded. Check the fact check table. Ask: "Use the exact numbers from the offer sheet and show the line for each."

  • The CTA has a time word. Ask: "Rewrite the CTA as one line with no deadline and no time words."

  • The script is too long. Ask: "Cut the hook to 2 lines and each section to the length I set."

  • It doesn't sound like you. Add: "Plain, direct, no hype words. Write the way I talk."

  • The file has no preview. Ask again, and keep "save ONE file named vsl-script.md."

  • Real customer details in a test. For practice, use a made-up course and a made-up offer sheet.

  • You recorded it without reading it. Don't. Read the script and check the table first.
