đ Works best with your billing tool. Connect Stripe or Whop and Jeremy AI finds the late invoices for you. It only writes drafts.
Paste your aging report. Get one file back: a priority table, three polite email drafts by tier, a not-provided list and a check table. Nothing is sent.
You'll see the SAMPLE aging report pasted in with the rules, the pack built in about 4 seconds on screen (the real wait was about 35 seconds), the file saved with nothing sent, the priority table sorted by days overdue, the three tier emails, the not-provided list and the check table.
What this use case does and who it's for
Chasing late invoices is awkward. You put it off. Then a bill is 40 days late and the note you write sounds tense. Or you send the same message to everyone, whether they're 3 days late or 41.
Here's the shortcut. Paste your aging report. Jeremy AI sorts it and drafts a calm note for each stage. Four parts:
A priority table. Four columns: invoice, days overdue, amount and next step. One row per invoice, most days overdue first.
Three email drafts. One per tier: 1 to 14 days overdue, 15 to 30 days overdue and 31 days or more. Each has a subject and a short body.
A not-provided list. Everything the emails need that you didn't give, like a payment link or your sender name.
A check table. Three columns: item, source and status. It confirms the numbers were copied as listed and nothing was calculated.
It's for coaches, agency owners and course creators who bill clients and want a polite, steady follow-up routine. It's drafts only. Jeremy AI doesn't send anything.
What you need before you start
A Jeremy AI account. Nothing to connect to try the sample.
Your aging report. The sample is made up: SAMPLE Northbeam Coaching, with five invoices (INV-1042, INV-1047, INV-1051, INV-1038 and INV-1055). Each has a client, an amount, days overdue and the last contact.
Honest gaps. The sample says the payment link, sender name, bank details, contact names and payment terms are "not provided." That's on purpose. The emails use placeholders for those.
The rules. The sample uses HARD RULES: copy invoice numbers, days and amounts exactly, never calculate a total or average, never infer a payment method or contact name, keep the tone polite and factual, and never address you by name.
How to set it up
You use the default Jeremy AI worker. There's nothing to build.
Open Jeremy AI. From the dashboard, type in the main box. Check the worker selector says Jeremy AI.
Paste the prompt below. Swap your own aging report in where the sample one is.
Click Send message.
Wait. The walkthrough speeds this part up. In real time it took about 35 seconds.
When it says the file is saved, read the chat summary first.
Open the file card and read the priority table.
Scroll to the three email drafts, then the not-provided list and the check table.
The prompt
This is the exact prompt from the walkthrough. The business, the clients and every number are SAMPLE and made up. Replace them with yours.
Act as my "Overdue Invoice Follow-up" worker for SAMPLE Northbeam Coaching, a coaching business (all data below is made up). Turn the SAMPLE aging report below into a follow-up pack. Create ONE file named overdue-invoice-followups.md using the file tool (reply with a short summary only) with: 1) a PRIORITY TABLE with exactly 4 columns (invoice, days overdue, amount, next step), one row per invoice, sorted from most days overdue to fewest, 2) THREE EMAIL DRAFTS, one per tier (tier 1: 1 to 14 days overdue, tier 2: 15 to 30 days overdue, tier 3: 31 days or more overdue), each with a subject and a body of 60 words or fewer, 3) a NOT PROVIDED list, 4) a CHECK table with exactly 3 columns (item, source, status). The "next step" cell names the tier and the email to send. Use the placeholders "[payment link: not provided]" and "[sender name: not provided]" in every email. HARD RULES: copy invoice numbers, days and amounts exactly as listed, never calculate a total, average or new number; never infer a payment method, contact name or detail not stated; write "not provided"; never mention late fees, interest, discounts, payment plans, pauses, collections, legal action or threats; the tone is polite and factual; every table has 4 columns or fewer and short cells of 12 words or fewer; never address me by name anywhere in the chat reply or the file. Drafts only, nothing is sent.
AGING REPORT (SAMPLE):
- INV-1042, SAMPLE Harbor Fitness, $1,200, 34 days overdue, last contact: reminder email 20 days ago.
- INV-1047, SAMPLE Peak Strength Club, $850, 18 days overdue, last contact: none.
- INV-1051, SAMPLE Oakline Studio, $2,400, 9 days overdue, last contact: none.
- INV-1038, SAMPLE Riverbend Gym, $600, 41 days overdue, last contact: 2 reminder emails.
- INV-1055, SAMPLE Summit Yoga, $1,500, 3 days overdue, last contact: none.
- Not provided: payment link, sender name, bank details, contact names, payment terms.
Prompting tips and how to adapt it
Paste the list as bullets. One line per invoice: number, client, amount, days overdue and last contact. The more exact the list, the cleaner the table.
Define the tiers. The prompt sets three: 1 to 14, 15 to 30 and 31 or more days overdue. Change the cutoffs to match how you work.
Make the next step name the tier. The "next step" cell says which tier and which email to send. You never have to guess.
Use placeholders for what's missing. The prompt says to use "[payment link: not provided]" and "[sender name: not provided]" in every email. You fill them in before you send.
Ban new numbers. The prompt says never calculate a total, average or new number. The days and amounts appear as you listed them.
Set the tone. The prompt says polite and factual. It also bans late fees, interest, discounts, payment plans, pauses, collections, legal action and threats.
Cap the length. Each email body is 60 words or fewer. Short cells too: 12 words or fewer, 4 columns or fewer.
Adapt it. Swap in any billing list: retainers, program payments or event invoices. Add a fourth tier if you need one.
The result to expect
One Markdown file named overdue-invoice-followups.md, titled "Overdue Invoice Follow-up Pack (SAMPLE Northbeam Coaching)." It starts with "Drafts only. Nothing is sent." With the sample data you should see:
A 4-column priority table with five rows, sorted from most days overdue to fewest: INV-1038 at 41 days and $600, INV-1042 at 34 days and $1,200, INV-1047 at 18 days and $850, INV-1051 at 9 days and $2,400, INV-1055 at 3 days and $1,500. The next step names the tier: Tier 3 email, Tier 3 email, Tier 2 email, Tier 1 email, Tier 1 email.
Three email drafts. Tier 1 is a friendly reminder. Tier 2 is a follow-up that asks you to confirm if payment was already sent. Tier 3 says the records show the invoice is still open and asks for an update. Each has a subject, a short body and the two placeholders for the payment link and sender name.
A not-provided list. Five items: payment link, sender name, bank details, contact names and payment terms.
A 3-column check table. Invoice numbers, days and amounts: "Copied exactly." Totals or averages: "Confirmed" not calculated. Placeholders in every email: "Included." Prohibited topics: "Excluded."
The chat reply summarizes the file and says nothing was sent. It offers a tone tweak or a second-round sequence.
These are sample results from a made-up business. Wording changes from run to run. Read every draft before you send anything.
Common mistakes and fixes
A late fee, interest or threat shows up. Delete it. Remind it: "Never mention late fees, interest, collections, legal action or threats."
An offer shows up. Delete it. Remind it: "Never offer discounts, payment plans or pauses."
A total or average appears. Delete it. Remind it: "Never calculate a total, average or new number."
An email names a person you never named. Delete it. Remind it: "Never infer a contact name. Write 'not provided.'"
A payment method or bank detail appears. Delete it. Remind it: "Never infer a payment method. Use the placeholder."
An email runs long. Remind it: "Each body is 60 words or fewer."
The table has too many columns. Remind it: "Every table has 4 columns or fewer."
You send a draft with placeholders still in it. Don't. Fill in the payment link and your name first.
You send it as is. Don't. Read each draft once. Match the tier to the invoice, then send it yourself.
