Use Case: Log Your Numbers to Google Sheets Automatically

Connect Google Sheets, show JeremyAI where your numbers go, then schedule it to add a new row every day or week.

If you copy the same numbers into a spreadsheet every week, JeremyAI can do it for you. Connect Google Sheets, show it the sheet and the columns once, then schedule it. A new row appears on its own, in the same format every time.

In the video, we add one row to a sheet from chat, check it in Google Sheets, then schedule a weekly row for 9 AM every Monday. The part where we fill in the schedule form is sped up 2x.

Before you start

  • Have a Google Sheet with a header row, for example Date | Spend | Leads | Cost per lead. Copy its link.

  • Use a Google account that can edit that sheet.

Why it matters

A tracking sheet is only useful if it's filled in every time. When JeremyAI logs the numbers, you never skip a week, and you can spot trends at a glance.

Step 1: Connect Google Sheets

  1. Go to Integrations and click + Connect New App.

  2. Search for Google Sheets and follow the steps to sign in with Google.

  3. When it's done, Google Sheets appears in your connections list (it may show as Googlesheets). You're ready.

Step 2: Add one row from chat

Start a chat and send:

Add a row to the "Weekly" tab of this sheet: [paste link]. Columns are Date, Spend, Leads, Cost per lead. Today's numbers: spend $420, leads 31.

Open the sheet and check the row landed in the right tab and columns. If not, tell JeremyAI what to fix, then try again.

Step 3: Let JeremyAI get the numbers too

Typing the numbers in yourself saves little. The time saver is letting JeremyAI fetch them (not shown in the video). For example, if Meta Ads is connected:

Pull last week's Meta spend and leads, work out cost per lead, and add one row to the "Weekly" tab of [link] with Monday's date.

Step 4: Put it on a schedule

Set the schedule from your worker's Triggers tab:

  1. Open your worker and go to its Triggers tab.

  2. Click + Create new and choose Scheduled Trigger.

  3. Setup: pick the worker and give it a Task Name. Click Next: Set Schedule & Timing.

  4. Schedule: the tabs are Quick, Recurring, One-time and Advanced. Choose a schedule that runs every Monday at 9 AM (the video uses Advanced). Click Next: Choose Execution Method.

  5. Execute: paste this into Worker Instructions: Every Monday, pull last week's Meta spend and leads, work out cost per lead, and add one new row at the bottom of the "Weekly" tab of [link].

  6. Click Create Scheduled Task. Once saved, the trigger reads Every Monday at 9:00 AM.

Or try asking in chat. You can send something like Every Monday at 9am, pull last week's Meta spend and leads, work out cost per lead, and add one new row at the bottom of the "Weekly" tab of [link]. JeremyAI may set a reminder instead of a schedule, so check the Triggers page afterward. If no trigger appears there, set it up as above.

On the trigger, Next Run shows when it runs next, and Recent Runs shows past runs.

What good output looks like

  • One new row per run, at the bottom of the right tab.

  • Numbers in the right columns, with the date filled in.

Prompts to copy

  • Every weekday at 6pm, add yesterday's Meta spend, leads and cost per lead to the "Daily" tab of [link].

  • On the 1st of every month, add last month's totals to the "Monthly" tab of [link], then tell me how they compare with the month before.

  • Read the "Weekly" tab of [link] and tell me which week had the cheapest leads and why.

Common mistakes and fixes

  • Row lands in the wrong place: name the tab and the columns exactly as they appear in the sheet.

  • It overwrites a row: say "add a new row at the bottom" in your prompt.

  • "Not connected" or "permission denied": your Google connection needs to be set up again. Go to Integrations, click + Connect New App and sign in to Google Sheets again.

  • Different sheet each time: always paste the same sheet link in the scheduled prompt.
