JeremyAI gives much better answers when it knows your business. Your offer, your customers, your proof and the way you talk. The Knowledge Base is where you give it that context, once, so you stop pasting the same background into every chat.

Why it matters
Without your files, JeremyAI answers like a smart outsider: good general advice, but generic. With your files, it can write ads that use your real offer, emails that quote your real testimonials, and sales answers that follow your real process.
Use the Knowledge Base when:
You keep pasting the same offer details or FAQs into chats.
Answers feel generic or get your prices, names or promises wrong.
You want copy that sounds like you, not like a template.
What to upload first
Start small with the files that change answers the most:
Offer doc: what you sell, who it's for, price, what's included, guarantee.
FAQs: the questions prospects and clients ask most, with your answers.
Testimonials and results: real quotes and outcomes you're allowed to use.
SOPs: how you run key processes (onboarding, sales calls, refunds).
Brand voice: a page of examples of how you write, words you use and words you avoid.
Five good files beat fifty messy ones. Add more once these are working.
Name files so you can ask for them
You'll often refer to a file by name in your prompt, so make names clear and specific:
Good: Offer Overview - Coaching Program, FAQs - Sales, Testimonials 2026, Brand Voice
Hard to use: final_v3.pdf, doc1.docx, Untitled
Group files into a few simple folders, for example Company Info, Sales and Marketing.
Check the file type and size
JeremyAI can read these files, up to 250 MB each:
Documents: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, TXT, RTF, EPUB
Spreadsheets: Excel, CSV, TSV, ODS
Web and text: HTML, Markdown, XML
Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, WEBP
Audio and video: MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A, WEBM
If your file is a different type, save it as one of these and upload it again.
Upload your files
In the sidebar, click Knowledge. You'll land on the Knowledge Base page.
Need a place for it? Click + New folder and give it a name.
Open the folder and click Upload files.
Check the file's status shows Ready
Right after uploading, your file shows Pending while JeremyAI prepares it.
When it switches to Ready, JeremyAI can use it. If it isn't Ready yet, give it a little time before asking about it.
Prompts to try
Swap in your own file names.
Ads
Using "Offer Overview" and "Testimonials 2026", write 5 Facebook ad hooks for busy gym owners.
Write 3 ad variations for my offer. Use one real result from my testimonials in each.
Emails
Using "Offer Overview" and "Brand Voice", write a 3-email follow-up sequence for leads who booked a call but didn't show.
Turn the top 3 questions in "FAQs - Sales" into a short nurture email.
Sales
Using "FAQs - Sales", list the 5 most likely objections for my offer and a short answer for each.
Following my "Sales Call SOP", write a call script for a first call with an agency owner.
Different businesses, same idea
Coach: Using "Program Outline", write a welcome message for new clients explaining week one.
Agency: Using "Case Studies", write a one-paragraph pitch for a dental clinic.
E-commerce: Using "Product Catalog", write product descriptions for my 3 best sellers.
What good output looks like
You'll know JeremyAI is using your files when the answer includes details only your files contain: your exact price, your product names, a real client quote, the steps from your SOP.
To check, ask:
Which files did you use for that answer?
Quote the line from my offer doc that you based this on.
If the answer is generic, name the file in your prompt and ask again.
Common mistakes and fixes
Asking before the file is Ready: wait until the status shows Ready, then ask again.
Vague prompts: "write an ad" gets a generic ad. "Using Offer Overview, write an ad for X" gets yours.
Old files left in: if an old price list is still there, JeremyAI may use it. Remove or replace outdated files.
Unclear file names: rename files before uploading so you can refer to them easily.
Keep your files current
Your Knowledge Base is only as good as what's in it. When your offer, prices or process change, upload the new version and remove the old one. A quick monthly check keeps answers accurate.
Saw "Your file was saved, but it could not be prepared for search"?
Don't upload it again. Message us in chat with the file name and we'll fix it for you.
